Vincennes Lincoln vs Washington (1 - 4) Loss 1S- Madison Fleck vs Sophia Hill (0-6, 1-6) 2S- JJ Riggs vs Brooklyn Whitehead (4-6, 6-3, 6-6 TB(5-7)) 3S- Bella Anderson vs Emma Niehaus (0-6, 0-6) 1D- Adra Luking/Maddy Mitchell vs Nora McMurray/Ella Williams (7-5, 0-6, 6-4) 2D- Callie Turner/Payton Riggs vs Maliyah Thorne/Breah Eskew (5-7, 6-3, 3-6) The girls played very well tonight in doubles. Madison & Bella both fought out great rallies tonight, but once it came to the moment of pushing through Deuce/Advantage they came out short. Adra & Maddy got lost the second set but thankfully, locked in during the third set and did what they were capable of. Callie & Payton had several perfectly placed shots in deep corners and hard groundstrokes that their opponents couldn't return. JJ at 2S tonight, battled her heart out with some extensively long rallies. She covered the court extremely well and showed off her athleticism by not allowing many shots get past her. Washington has a great team, but I know for a fact our girls could've came out with a win in the positions we fell short in. Once sectionals arrive, I believe our girl's will want their revenge.
