Vincennes Lincoln vs Evansville Mater Dei 1S- Madison Fleck vs Gwen Hentel (4-6, 6-1, 4-6) 2S- JJ Riggs vs Abigail Smith (4-6, 4-6) 3S- Bella Anderson vs Josie Walker (2-6, 0-6) 1D- Maddy Mitchell/Adra Luking vs Natalie Weber/Lucy Rohleder (5-7, 3-6) 2D- Payton Riggs/Callie Turner vs Piper Fedhrenbacker/Huey Rohleder (7-5, 3-6, 5-7) We could've come out with a 4-1 win tonight over a great tennis team. We fell short but each position was putting 110% into each match. Madison had an amazing match playing great in all aspects. I believe tonight was one of Madison's best matches played. JJ was covering the court well and had some good short ball put aways. Callie, Payton, Adra, and Maddy in doubles did phenomenal with adapting throughout their matches and altering their gameplay to keep it close with their opponents. This season has been full of squeak by losses, but they continue to improve, rebuild their playstyles, and make us coaches and family proud.
