Vincennes Lincoln hosted Castle in an SIAC matchup. The Alices (4-3; 0-1) fell to the Knights 25-13, 25-9 and 25-8. "It is always tough playing Castle right away, especially with it being our first conference game of the season, but I thought these girls put up a tough fight," commented Coaching Ballinger. "We ran a new lineup, and that in itself is a battle against any team, but these girls stepped up and handled adversity. The first set was fun to watch as we pushed Castle, but they are a great team and can adapt on the fly."
