Lincoln Volleyball Splits at Scottsburg Tourney

The Lincoln Volleyball (7-5) team split even on the day, winning two and losing two at the Scottsburg Tournament. The Alices opened the day defeating Edgewood 25-21 and 25-15. They finished pool play by falling to Evansville North 25-13 and 25-17. In crossover play Princeton came back from a set down to beat Lincoln 21-25, 25-22 and 15-12. The Alices rounded out the tournament by beating Heritage Hills 25-15, 24-26 and 15-11. "Today was comprised of ups and downs, but there were more positives that stuck out," commented Coach Ballinger. "We defended the ball well throughout our matches and also had a decent day serving. Our offense has improved, but there are still a few adjustments we need to make this week. It has been a long week, but these girls continue to impress me and the fight they have!"
