Faka Hyppolite, Gera Silva, and Lucas Klingler tallied goals as Vincennes Lincoln defeated Rivet 3-1. Paxton Smith recorded 3 saves in the victory. "It was great to get this in-town rivalry back on the schedule. I don't think we've played each other in 5 years and both teams completed really hard. Our midfielders, Lucas Klingler, David Ramirez, and David Hyppolite, are doing a great job of maintaining possession and building up into the attacking third. In the second half, our attack started to find the net, starting with David Hyppolite banging in a shot from 18 yards out. For the second goal, Morgan Horst, playing wide left, found Gera Silva cutting into the box. Gera, somehow, snuck a quick shot past the keeper. Finally, Lucas Klingler saw the Rivet keeper off his line and launched a shot from just outside the center circle that found the top of the goal. Defensively, Saul Ubaldo and Cannon McCallister held down the back line, limiting Rivet to just a handful of attacks."
