Boys tennis finishes 4th in SIAC

The past two nights we have gone up against two really good teams with a lot of experienced tennis players. On our varsity team we have three guys who started playing tennis as sophomores, three who started playing as freshmen, and one who started in 8th grade. The fact that we were able to compete with Castle tonight, whose players started much earlier than ours, I was really happy with. Jaden and Joel picked up the best win of their careers. They have asserted themselves as one of the best doubles teams in the district. They are really clicking right now and are a lot of fun to watch. Clegg played Mardis really tight in the first set, who is one of the best players in the state. We're also happy that we finished higher in the SIAC for the 2nd year in a row with a 4th place finish. Our goal is to continue climbing in the future, but we still have goals to accomplish this season and I think these tough matches will only prepare us more to go after those goals.
