Boys tennis drops tight match to Loogootee; JV picks up win

We had a lot of really great matches tonight on both varsity and JV. Our varsity doubles were both slow out of the gate, but both teams found a rhythm in the 2nd set and were able to come away with the wins. Clegg played Waggner really tight, but he's a tough player and his unconventional style of play makes it really difficult to find a groove. I thought our JV had a great night. Carter was as pumped up as I've seen any of our JV guys all year and he and Gabe pulled out the last 3 games to get the win against a good opponent. Brady/Luke were able to come away with a win in a tight match too, as did Lucas Eaton. While we're disappointed to not come away with the varsity win, I do believe tonight and the rest of the week will make us better and hopefully that pays off next week.
