Vincennes Lincoln fell to Washington 5-1 in the sectional semifinals. Gera Silva scored in the 12 minute on an assist from Jude Clark. Paxton Smith had 10 saves on the night. "The players should be really proud of themselves. They were prepared for the game and gave a good Washington team a great challenge. Carson Heiden and Cannon McCallister were incredible clearing attacks and cutting down passing lanes and Paxton Smith was a wall in goal. We're disappointed with the result, but will look back at the growth we've made this year and feel successful. Our lone senior, Saul Ubaldo, probably played the best game of his career tonight. He's always wanted to win for his teammates and he exemplified how an Alice should play.with his energy and effort. He's dedicated himself to improving and he really showcased his abilities."
