Vincennes JV Alices vs Lawrenceville (5 - 3) Win The Vincennes Alices JV were victorious against Lawrenceville 5-3 on Wednesday night. For what is the JV's 4th win in the last 5 games, the Alices were able to use timely hitting, baserunning and two solid efforts on the mound to keep the Indians from gaining too much momentum. Gavin Kelso had two hits for the Alices. (1 being a bunt for a hit!). Tyson Gillis, Luke Clark, and Cam Meadows all collected one hit a piece for the Alices tonight. Maverick Betsch, Gavin Kelso, and Clark all added 1 RBI a piece. Justice Johnson, Blayton Lockhart, Gillis, Kelso, and Meadows all scored tonight for Lincoln. Sam Lindsey and Johnson both drew walks. Daniel Henderson threw 3 solid innings for the Alices tonight and struck out 7 batters and collected the win. Connor Hahn pitched the final two innings and struck out 3. Neither pitcher surrendered an earned run. The JV Alices are back in action on Thursday against Evansville Central at home (Hill Field). Gametime is 6pm EST.
