Vincennes Alices JV vs Washington (3 - 2) Win The Vincennes JV Alices came from behind to defeat the Washington Hatchets. Both teams were strong on the mound tonight. Hayden Lanning started the game for the Alices and pitched a great 2 innings. The Alices did not take the lead until late in the game. In the top of the 5th inning, Tyson Gillis hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Memphis McCrary. Justice Johnson scored the go ahead run on a passed ball. Connor Hahn earned the win for Vincennes. He came into relieve in the 3rd inning and gave up zero earned runs and struck out five batters. Great day for both Alices pitchers. Luke Clark had 2 hits and Connor Hahn added a hit for Lincoln. Tyson Gillis and Sam Lindsey both had 1 RBI a piece. Justice Johnson, Luke Clark, and Memphis McCrary all scored tonight for the Alices. Vincennes Alices JV play host to the Princeton Tigers on Monday, May 5th. 6:00 pm EST.
