The Lady Alices would go up early in this one, scoring twice within the first 20 minutes of play. One of those 2 goals came within the first minute of the 1st half. Gibson Southern would end up capitalizing on a few scrappy chances to tie the game at halftime. The second half started similarly to the first, with Gibson Southern scoring in the 38th and 34th minutes. Lincoln would get one back in the 28th minute. They would also have a slow roller that looked to roll at least onto the line, but it wasn't given as a goal. This would've tied the game 4-4. Unfortunately, Gibson Southern countered directly after and scored, putting the game out of reach with 36 seconds left and winning it 5-3.
